I'm sitting on the plane from Atlanta back to SLC. I feel like I accomplished a lot even though there is still a lot of uncertainty. I put in an application for a lovely condo townhouse in the Inverness section of Hoover in Birmingham. It's very close to work though my first week I'll spend in the tower downtown. Yesterday was my last day at GE. I cannot believe that it's over. It was a great 22 months. I got in early because I had a ton of work that had to be completed before I could go. When I said all I wanted to do was read this weekend, I wasn't kidding. Book #130, Death in Paradise by Kate Flora is the 5th Thea Kozak mystery and I liked it just as much as the others. V for Vendetta. This was an interesting film on many levels. The allegories between the "future" and the present were deliberately obvious and heavy handed. The effects were well done as was the story itself. But I'm not certain I believed it. I am not certain that I was convinced that V fell for Evey. I am totally psyched. Evanescence is playing Salt Lake City! Tickets go on sale tomorrow. I can't wait. They happen to be playing Boston when I am there but it's the same night as my girlfriend's wedding, so that's a no go. I spent too long tracking a package that might or might not have been sent back to my boss. I hope so because it represented a ton of work that I will not enjoy replicating. I'm seriously sick this time. Once again the germs came and smacked me out of nowhere. Sunday I started coughing. I could feel the tickle. I hoped it was allergies. I was wrong.
